About

The Tejano Civil Rights Museum is a fascinating place to discover the history of Hispanics as they struggled to gain Civil Rights.

The Tejano Civil Rights Museum recently opened in Corpus Christi as a joint venture between Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the LULAC Foundation; as an extension of the Ben Bailey Art Gallery of TAMUK it houses different art exhibitions monthly.

The Tejano Civil Rights Museum, located inside the Grande-Grossman House, gives the community an opportunity to look back at Hispanic history. Corpus Christi is actually the birthplace of the Hispanic civil rights movement back in 1929.
